HOST offers a range of high quality, cost effective earth rods to suit different climatic and soil conditions.
COPPER BONDED EARTH ROD AND FITTINGS
Manufactured from high tensile low carbon steel by molecularly bonding 99.9% pure electrolytic copper, these earth rods conform to BS 4360 grade 43A. Each rod is treated with Benzol triozole derivatives to prevent oxidation of copper bonding. The threads are formed by roll threading process which ensure strength and maintain the molecularly bonded copper along the full length of the threads. SOLID COPPER EARTH ROD (Externally threaded)
HOST offers pure copper earth rods for use where extreme soil condition such as high salt or moisture content demands high corrosion resistance and exceptionally long life of rods. HOST Solid Copper Earth Rods are made from high conductivity hard drawn copper to BS2874 C101. Threads are formed by roll threading process to ensure extra strength and avoid the risk of chipping while driving the rods in the ground.

TAPER POINTED AIR ROD
HOST taper pointed air rods are manufactured from Electrolytic Grade Copper, one side tapper pointed and the other side with suitable threads for fixing to saddles / air terminal bases. Rods made of aluminium also can be supplied against specific requirements. Rods can be installed with or without multiple points. However, researches conducted in this regard suggest use of multiple points with taper pointed air rods are more effective than taper pointed air rods. |
