Gear Box Fitted Fire Pumps

It is a multiplier step up gear box which is compatible with all kinds of our vehicle mounting pumps. We can provide ratios from 1:1 and above as per customer requirement. This unit is perfect for fire engines which have rated torque at low rpm. Helical gears; made from special alloy steel, carburized, hardened and ground are mounted on an alloy steel shaft and installed in cast iron housing. Water cooling facility is provided for continuous operation. High quality double lip oil seals are provided which offer virtually leak proof operations for extended periods.

Power Take Off

This specially designed FIREHAWK P.T.O. is perfect for modern age fire engines to transmit high power & high torque. Installed in a midship position between the truck transmission and & the rear axle. The sliding gear is positioned by a manual or air powered shift mechanism. Available in four different ratios (1:1.17, 1:1.31, 1:1.48, 1.1.62).

Portable Fire Pumps

Firefly diesel powered fire fighting pump is one of the lightest & most efficient portable fire fighting pump available in its class today. It can be stowed in the equipment lockers of fire tenders very easily. Besides fire fighting; pump can be used for the applications like dewatering, booster tank filling, washing, and etc. Light weight aluminum alloy components of pump are further heat treated & hard anodized for increased strength & life. The pump has a strong wrap around steel cradle with four collapsible handles.

Trailer Mounted Fire Pumps

Single stage centrifugal pump is directly coupled with a suitable engine and mounted on a trailer for surface transportation. The Pump is equipped with Exhaust priming system as standard for fast & effective priming from deep lift. However Firefly’s reciprocating priming system "Primatic" which is completely automatic in operation can also be supplied with these pumps as optional. The engine is air cooled as well as water cooled for better performance. The complete set up is equipped with radiator, heat exchanger, battery, electric starter, 40 liters diesel tank, control panel etc. This unit can be used to combat fire for longer times.
Pump capacities can be made available up to 4000 LPM pumps with higher capacity engines.

Skid Mounted Fire Pumps

The Firefly skid mounted fire pumps are self contained fire pump driven by a close coupled diesel engine and mounted on a heavy duty base for fixed installation. The complete unit is designed for extended fire pump duty, and every consideration has been given to ease of operation and servicing. The pump and engine combination is supported on anti-vibration mounts to cut down noise and vibration.

High Pressure Gun

Firefly has developed second generation NXT-200 high pressure gun taking in to consideration the difficulties encountered in combating Indoor fire operations, incipient fires and forest fires. NXT-200 is advisedly designed so that fireman can rely completely on his equipments. The gun has proven its capability to achieve optimum extinguishing effects. It is extremely handy and user friendly.
We strongly recommended NXT-200 gun in combination with Firefly MP series fire pumps or any high pressure technology fire pump.
In practical terms NXT-200 consumes very little water during the operations and the micro-droplets evaporate completely and thus extract a maximum heat from the fire. Due to this; massive cooling effect are achieved. This cooling effect has two advantages; it cools the object on fire immediately and also saves the fireman from radiant heat from the fire, over & above it also saves the property being damaged due to heavy throw of water.
