Electro less Nickel Plating (ENP)
Introduction :-
Electroless Nickel Plating is a
chemical plating process in which
deposition take place by way of
dipping i.e. auto catalytically.
Since the process requires no
electric current thus the result is
a very Uniform Coating in each and
every area of the job (like a blind
holes, threads, channels, recesses
or internal areas receive the same
amount of plating as sharp corners,
edges or flat surfaces). Thus
plating ovality can be occure within
5 microns so that post grinding of
machining to size can be eliminated.
