Genesis and Evolution
Polyplast Chemi-Plants (I) Pvt. Ltd. initially started the business in a very small way having rented premises on 500 sq.ft. area in an industrial estate situated in Mumbai Hard work and sincere efforts succeeded, which resulted in getting more orders and started feeling short of place due to high production. Within a period of less than a year we shifted to a small unit of 5000 sq.ft. at Vidyavihar, Mumbai.
In the year 1975 due to heavy work load, we needed much bigger working area for manufacturing so we bought our own plot in Andheri MIDC and built a factory over there admeasuring 15000 sq.ft. and continued production at Vidyavihar as well as at Andheri. since our business increased day by day and there was constant flow of orders, we needed much more bigger space. We purchased a new company named M/S. Amsons Steels Pvt Ltd.,at Wagle Estate Thane, admeasuring 35,000 sq ft, approx. in the year 1992.
Keeping in view our future expansion and growing need of manufacturing place management decided to shift PPCPL also to Wagle Estate Thane and purchase a factory admeasuring 15000 sq.ft. area. POLYPLAST & Amsons have grown by leaps and bounds to present status. We have now reached the stage for further expansion and diversification of our activities in the field of FRP, due to our continuous efforts, we not only sustained our self in the competitive field, but have also developed customers from developed countries.
Manufacturing Sites : Our manufacturing facilities are located in the Thane, a city touching Mumbai. Both the units use State of the art Technology for manufacturing various items and other related R&D work. There are more than 100 technically competent and experienced personals employed in the our Units.
We have requisite infrastructure for manufacturing of FRP Plant & Equipment using Polyester Resins like Vinylester, Bisphenol, Isopthalic etc. & Polypropelene (PP), CPVC, PVC, Poly Vinylidene Flouride (PVDF), ECTFE (Hallar) and FEP etc.
Location of both of our unit being in heart of oldest industrial belt facilitate us to get very skilled and disciplined workforce. Further being located very close to Eastern Express highway becomes very approachable to all customers. Two international harbours viz. Mumbai Port & Nhava - Sheva being very close to our manufacturing units, it is easy to import raw material and export our equipments.
