HMS-Inpro H5 Amplifier
controls Grinding wheel in feed & retraction using in-process
Measurement. Amplifier continuously measures work piece diameter during
grinding process & Compares measure size with set points and control in
feed of grinding wheel. Grinding wheel retraction signal is issued when
size reaches to final set point.
HMS-5 has 3/4 set point
correction potentiometers and corresponding LED indications.
Auto/Manual switch enable/disable output relay actuation used for
interfacing External electrical circuit.
Wheel at park indication LED displays home position of grinding wheel.

Settable wheel retraction delay potentiometer retract Grinding wheel if
Gauge is not applied at measuring position within set delay, this allows
operator to increase Diamond contact life. Dual sensitivity meter
display stock to be removed and operate in 500-0-100 Micron and 50-0-10
Micron. Meter display sensitivity is indicated by LED.
Electrical zero setting is
used for work stock adjustment. It has adjustable dial locking
mechanism. |

Programming of microcontroller is done using lower level language called Assembly or in Higher level language( ‘C’ ,Basic, etc.). Assembly gives good understanding of microcontroller and generates highly optimized code, however as complexity of projects increases it becomes is very difficult to analyze or modify the code.
Higher level language is now preferred due to availability of optimize compiler and simplicity in writing complex code. Project development time is drastically reduced and interfacing of higher end peripherals is quite easy task .
