Silicon Bronze are alloyed with 1-3% Silicon, about 10% of Iron, Nickel, Manganese or Tin also be present. The silicon bronze has excellent chemical resistance and become stronger when worked. eg. BY Rolling. The silicon bronzes are used for Pumps, Boilers, Marine Hardware And Chemical Vessels. And one alloy in this family is prefered by sculptors.
